Overview
Summary
This fantastic, mainly gravel, route is based on the wonderful Rob Roy Way. We have extended the official Rob Roy Way to take in some of the best trails in Highland Perthshire. This makes for an incredibly flexible route; the official Rob Roy way can be biked in 2 or 3 days, or extend your trip to 4 or 5 days, with some brilliant biking through the dramatic scenery of Highland Perthshire.

This route makes for a great gravel biking holiday or equally it can be an easy going mountain biking tour through the Trossachs and Highland Perthshire. The route will see you biking through Aberfoyle and on to Loch Earn. You pass the beautiful Loch Earn and bike along the banks of Loch Tay. Climbing into the hills of Perthshire you will be treated to some of the finest scenery in Scotland, following ancient drove roads and 4x4 trails deep into the hills. The end point of the route is in the gorgeous town of Pitlochry, where you can again extend the trip for another day, if you wish to spend a couple of nights in the heart of the Highlands.
